Arrival in Moscow, free time. Overnight: Best Western Vega hotel.

26 Aug
Breakfast. Free time in Moscow. In the evening meet the group at Yaroslavsky Railway Station, departure to Irkutsk.

27-29 Aug
Enjoy landscape scenery from the train

30 Aug
Arrival in Irkutsk in the early morning. Transfer to the city's historcial center. Breakfast at local restaurant.
Transfer to Baikal Lake. En route: visit open-air ethnographical museum of wooden architecture "Taltsy" (comprehensive exhibition of Siberian-style folk houses of the former centuries)
Visit Listvyanka village and try famous Baikal fish Omul at a restaurant situated at Baikal's shore.
Experience the lake's landscape and culture: get acquaintaned with Shaman-rock legend, visit ancient wooden orthodox church of St.Nicholas (who is believed to be the patron of fishermen and sailors), ride a funicular to Chersky peak observatory to enjoy picturesque view of the lake, stop by local fish & souvenir markets to choose a gift for your family and friends.
In the evening check-in at Nikolay private hotel-house in Listvyanka. Free time

Breakfast. Have your free morning time at Baikal lake
Transfer to Irkutsk.
City tour: Irkutsk foundation place, the Eternal flame memorial, most important churches (including Znamensky cathedral ), Kirov square and several memorials dedicated to events in Siberian history, Irkutsk Linguistics University, City administration and Headquarters of East Siberia Coalmining buildings. Hear a story of the house of Scouts ('pioneers' in Russian) located near Labor square. Put your feet at the crossing of Lenin and Karl-Marx streets (two main streets) in the center of the city, stroll along Gagarin boulevard, popular with locals as a dating spot. Overview the monument to tsar Alexander III, and visit unique lore museum surrounded by centries-old buildings that keep the charm of Irkutsk.
Lunch at the local restaurant and then enjoy your free time in Irkutsk.
In the evening we will transfer to the Railway Station and depart to Ulaanbaatar

Early in the morning arrival to Ulaanbaatar.
Drive to theTerelj National Park famous for its alpine scenery and granite rock formations. En route, stop by the Turtle rock. Arrive at ger camp in Terelj Valley. Enjoy a Mongolian BBQ (Khorkhog) lunch. Local explorations and horseriding at request. Overnight in ger camp. Lunch and dinner included

3 Sep
Ulaanbaatar city tour & lunch (Sukhbaatar square, Gandan monastery, statue of Migjid Janraiseg, Zaisan memorial, a museum of choice.) Free time.
Overnight at hotel Edelweiss

4 Sep
Breakfast and then transfer to the railway station to catch a train to Beijing

5 Sep
Arrival to Beijing in the afternoon. Check in at Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel that is situated at the railway station vicinity. Free time.

6 Sep
Breakfast. City tour in the morning: Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Pearl factory visit. Enjoy lunch a chinese restraunt. Drive to the Imperial Summer Palace at Kungming lake. Transfer back in Beijing and visit Temple of Heaven.

7 Sep
Breakfast. Drive to the Great Wall of China and pass by Olympic Village (photo opportunities). Have lunch and visit Ming Tombs. Transfer Back to Beijing. Try world famous Beijing duck at at the Peking Duck restaurant.

8 Sep
Breakfast. This is end of the tour. You can extend your tour in China or you can combine it with our tours to North Korea or South Korea. Please contact us for more details.

Early in the morning arrival in the capital of The Republic of Buryatia(federal subject of Russia) - Ulan-Ude.
Check-in at Geser hotel. Breakfast time (meal at your own expense).
City tour: start at Soviet Square with Lenin's bust shaped as giant head - the biggest Lenin's head in the world! Walk through pedestrianized street Arbat and enjoy local architecture: history museum, house of Kappelman, Arch of Triumph, Opera and Ballet house.
Visit Gostinye Ryady (former market place) at Revolution Square. Finish the tour at St' Odigitriev cathedral (city's first stone building).

Early in the morning enjoy your breakfast and then move to the railway station to catch a train to Khabarovsk .

Arrival to Khabarovsk in the morning. Transfer to Intourist hotel: the hotel is located in city park area overlooking Amur river (border with China)
City sightseeing tour: start at Muraviev-Amursky street which is in the heart of the city and enjoy ancient stone architecture, shop for soverniers in local stores. Then stroll to the city's main square (Lenin square) and walk towards the Spaso-Preobrajensky cathedral pass by Glory Square hosting Memorial complex. Near by you will see the monument to Erophey Khabarov, the Russian explorer, after whom the city was called. Visit central market to experience local trade culture. In the evening free time.

5 Sep
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out. Visit local Lore Museum - one of the best museums in Khabarovsk.
Amur River cruise: take a ship from the river station near the central recreational park where the monument to the city-founder Muraviev-Amursky is located. Enjoy the embankment of admiral Nevelsky popular with locals for it picturesque sceneres and public WiFi.
In the evening transfer to the train station to depart to Vladivostok

6 Sep
In the morning arrival in Vladivostok, the capital of the Russian Far East. Check in at the hotel “Primorye”
City sightseeing tour: start at central square and walk down to Tsesarevich Nicholas Arch, visit Memorial complex at Naval embankment,and then stroll through local "Arbat" - Sportivnaya harbor to see a flee market of handmade handicrafts.
Drive to the observation point Eagle's Nest and enjoy the fabulous view on the Vladivostok city and the Golden Horn Bay. Visit Submarine C-56 Museum .

7 Sep
Breakfast and then take a 3 hour tour to Russky Island (a former top-secret military base). Visit Voroshilovskaya battery which served as a safeguard against possible Japanese military strike. Oversee the biggest in Russia cable-stayed bridge to Russky Island. Transfer back to the city center and enjoy your free time.
Overnight: hotel “Primorye”

8 Sep
Breakfast. This is end of the tour. You can extend your tour in Russia or you can combine it with our tours to North Korea, South Korea or China. Please contact us for more details.

    Option A (mainly for EU residents with EU citizenship): KoreaKonsult will arrange Russian and Mongolian visas in Sweden. You have to you send us your passport and supporting documents. This service is primarily available for EU residents with EU citizenship. However, if you live in Europe but do not hold any EU citizenship we might still arrange your visas, please contact us for more details.

    Option B (for residents of any country including Swedish residents who prefer to arrange visa on their own): You don't need to send us your passport. KoreaKonsult will send you necessary documents to obtain visa on your own in your country of residence.

  • Chinese visa

    According to Chinese regulations visa must be obtained in your country of residence.

    Option A (for Swedish residents only): KoreaKonsult will arrange your Chinese visa in Sweden. You have to send us your passport and required supporting documents.

    Option B (for residents of any country including Swedish residents who prefer to arrange visa on their own): You don't need to send us your passport. KoreaKonsult will send you necessary documents to obtain visa in your country of residence.
